Nelson police have arrested a man for being drunk and combative in a local business.
Officers were called Monday when he refused to leave. He had started to become aggressive towards staff and other customers.
When police arrived they noted his intoxicated state and tried to get him to identify himself. He refused, became aggressive and was taken into custody.
He was later released once he’d sobered up and faces charges of resisting arrest and obstruction.
