The BC SPCA has tentatively selected a new special provincial officer for the West Kootenay.
Shawn Eccles, the Senior Manager For Cruelty Investigations, says there is still paperwork to process before he’s officially named.
But he adds the potential hire is a good fit.
He’s worked in policing agencies for over 30 years.
He’ll have an orientation period in Vancouver before getting started in our region.
