The Columbia Basin Trust is giving the West Kootenay EcoSociety $47,000 for educational programs.
The programs will be held at the Kokanee Creek nature centre starting in July and focus on learning about local ecosystems.
Montana Burgess with the EcoSociety explains the many things they offer.
They also plan to offer in-school workshops.
