The BC Government is dispersing over $750,000 in rural dividend funding.
Slocan District Chamber of Commerce president Jan McMurray says the Nakusp chamber has been granted $10,000.
It’s to help with their joint “West Koot Route” tourism initiative.
The Slocan and Nakusp chambers partnered on the initiative a few years ago.
