An independent candidate running in Nelson-Creston this May says he’d sign a contract with constituents.
Jesse O’Leary says for one thing he’d commit to giving away at least half of his MLA’s salary to the community.
O’Leary, 27, lives outside of Kaslo and ran as an independent in the Stikine riding in 2013.
He also suggests video game design can be applied to real-world issues.
O’Leary is up against incumbent New Democrat Michelle Mungall, Liberal Tanya Wall, Kim Charlesworth of the Green Party, and fellow independent Tom Prior.
