Nelson’s Harvest Rescue program is marking a milestone.
The program that pairs fruit tree owners with volunteer pickers has been around for a decade.
Co-ordinator Heather Kezcan says they’re planning a party on July 26.
It’ll be held at the Nelson Food Cupboard garden at the corner of Ward and Hoover streets at 6:30 p.m.
Fruit picked under the program is split between volunteers, property owners, and the food cupboard.
