It’s not just one thing that will solve the challenges Trail faces downtown.
This from councillor Sandy Santori (pictured) after council agreed to grant the Trail and District Arts Council five thousand dollars to support their move to take over the Charles Bailey Theatre.
Santori says it is consistent with what Council is trying to achieve in the city’s centre.
The Arts Council has laid out a three-year business plan to assume operations of the theatre.
Santori says many components need to be added to the downtown core to make it vibrant.
