An online magazine ranks nelson as the 181st best place to live in Canada.
That’s down from 115th place last year.
Moneysense.ca looked at factors like employment, affordable housing, access to health care, weather, crime, and transit.
Nelson was the only local town included among more than 400 places on the list.
No. 1 was Ottawa while the best in BC was Oak Bay at third overall.
Also listed ahead of Nelson on the list: Cranbrook, Kelowna, Victoria, Vancouver, Fort St. John, Nanaimo, and Terrace.
