Creston’s Mayor is calling it an effort.
Ron Toyota is referring to an upcoming meeting with the Kootenay Lake School Board on the future of the Creston Education Centre.
It was initiated by the board and specifically invites two elected officials and a staff member from the town.
Toyota says he will attend and is optimistic.
The invitation calls the June 17th session a chance to discuss the facilities plan in more depth as well as a forum to present alternative ideas and timelines.
