Winlaw decision a weight off community, parent says

The chair of the Winlaw parents advisory council is relieved their school won’t close.

But Eden DuPont says she’s bothered by warnings that the matter isn’t over.

Some trustees say they may have to revisit the situation because W.E. Graham in Slocan remains underused.

But they agreed to use new rural education funding to keep Winlaw open.

DuPont says parents should keep pressure on government to provide school districts with adequate money.
