Thieves target garlic farm

Someone has stolen one hundred pounds of fresh garlic from a Creston-area farm.

It was nabbed from a crop located in the 3500-block of Highway 21 on Sunday.

According to RCMP the thief cut the vegetables and loaded them into a vehicle, then drove away.

The owner says the garlic is worth about $1,200.

RCMP are looking over video footage as part of an ongoing investigation.
