About 50 fruit pickers held a demonstration in Creston on Saturday.
The group marched downtown, waving signs and temporarily blocked traffic on Canyon Street.
A picker, who asked to remain anonymous, says it’s about deteriorating work environments, proper accommodation and fair wages.
She says the problems aren’t at every orchard – just a couple.
