Child care facilities in Castlegar, Trail, Rossland, Nelson and Creston will be getting a funding injection from the Columbia Basin Trust.
The CBT has dispersed $1 million to fund 41 projecs through the Columbia Basin to help with facilitiy upgrades.
Their child care capital grants program will help add 100 extra child care spaces in the area.
The biggest grant dished in our region was for Creston’s Kootenay Employment Services.
It’s worth $150,000.
