Seedy Saturday gets Nelson ready for gardening season

Gardening season is just around the corner and Seeds Nelson is once again hosting Seedy Saturday. Seeds board member Stephanie Meyers says it’s planned for April 7.

Meyers says the event include workshops, the heirloom seed sale, and orders for ‘Adopt-a-pot’ can be made. Workshops topics include composting, sun-scaping, invasive species, water conservation, bear-proofing, wild harvesting, and native plant sourcing. You can also have your picture taken in the “American Gothic” photo booth.  Meyers says board members will also be on hand to talk about some big changes with Seeds Nelson.

Admission is a $2 donation for non-Seeds members.
