Why it's time for binding arbitration:teachers' union local

The BC Teachers Federation is calling for binding arbitration to settle the labour impasse.

If the government agrees they’ll end their strike.

The BCTF says they’ll set aside the court matters on class size and composition but want the government to drop their contract escape clause E80 that would allow them to ignore any future court decision.

The government has previously rejected the idea of binding arbitration.
