An exciting project in Grand Forks which is over two years in the making is nearing an important milestone.
Lynne Burch with the local Rotary Club says they’ve asked council to give early budget approval for the city’s half share towards a $400,000 Spray Park.
Rotary is over 80% towards reaching their goal of $200,000 in cash or in-kind help.
Burch says the amenity in City Park can be an attraction for visitors and appeals to all children.
Rotary wants to work with a specific contractor and equipment supplier but needs the city’s go ahead.
