The local Mountie who’s photograph has gone viral is delighted with the unintended outcome.
Kaslo RCMP Corporal Shaun Begg is pictured playing shinny in his uniform in the mountains.
It’s on a temporary rink built as part of a TV advertising shoot and he took a trip up with a buddy who was flying in equipment.
Begg says the pic was taken for his own personal use but it was then re-tweeted by the RCMP and has now gone global including on ABC’s news website in the US.
