Search continues for missing man

RCMP, Nelson Search & Rescue and the public continue to search for a missing Blewett Road man.

42 year old Joe Moyer – who is believed to have mental health issues – walked off from the family home with his dog at 5 am Saturday.

On Sunday police said search teams had covered the ground around Moyer’s home as well as the Kootenay Canal and Rover Creek areas.

The family is concerned because Joe had not been eating regularly and his condition was described as “weak”.
