Nelson to market broadband

The city of Nelson is serious about marketing its broadband infrastructure.

It has hired their first ever manager of IT and Fibre.

Allison Sutherland says a key message is letting all businesses know that the mega high speed fibre optic cable is about a lot more than the internet.

Sutherland says Nelson’s fibre is quicker for upload and download than any competitors.

26 businesses and a number of institutions are now connected.

She can offer a pre-assessment to see if broadband is right for a small business.
