Champion goose poop collectors

A group of volunteers has picked up nearly 300 pounds of goose droppings in Trail’s Gyro Park since mid-April.

Bruce Taylor is a member at the Gateway Christian Life Centre who approached the City earlier this year asking if there were any projects they could help out with in the community.

Taylor says a group of about seven volunteers pick up the droppings every Thursday morning.

They use shovels and plastic bags.
He says they enjoy being outside and talking to residents visiting the park.
