Temporary vendor for Millenium ponds

Visitors to Castlegar’s Millennium Park Swimming Ponds won’t go hungry this summer before the covered concession and picnic area is finished.

The City has approved a short term license for Valhalla Lemonade to set up in the park before the multi-use Celgar pavilion is up and running.

Councillor Kevin Chernoff says they were the only vendor to apply to a request.

The City is beginning to seek interested parties to provide services full time at the concession.

The multi-use facility is expected to open in August.
