Sing national anthem more often, RDCK chair says

The chair of the Regional District of Central Kootenay is feeling patriotic these days.

This after Karen Hamling attended the recent Canada versus China World Cup opener in Edmonton.

She says it was incredible to sing O Canada along with 53,000 other people.

Hamling notes some municipalities in other provinces sing the anthem before council meetings.

But that doesn’t happen around here.
