Nelson was represented last week at the funeral of slain Edmonton police officer Daniel Woodall.
Sgt Dino Falcone and Cst Shawn Zukowski made the long drive and participated in the service.
Falcone says it was an incredible sight with thousands of peace officers marching as one.
Falcone says it was a sad occasion but he’s glad he went.
