Expanded games,programming at NDYC

A rehaul to the Nelson Youth Centre’s indoor skatepark will add a lot more for users of the facility.

A wide array of improvements are taking place at the Centre including the removal of the old skatepark and installation of a new one.

Employment Centre Co-ordinator Jonny Salerno says it will free up some other space in the centre.

Salerno says the work is the culmination of a year long process to change the culture and services at the centre.

A grand re-opening is slated for July 4th.
