Stevenson sentencing next month

Local armed robber Andrew Stevenson will be sentenced July 17th.

The court date for Nelson was confirmed Monday.

Stevenson went on a spree last year before being caught in a police chase after the armed robbery of the Nelson and District Credit Union.

He pleaded guilty to several charges in April.

Among his other targets were the currency exchange in Nelson, Kootenay Savings Credit Union in Castlegar and a gas station in Robson.

His partner Krista Kalmikoff also faces several charges.

She’s out on bail and awaits a trial date.
