Homeless Report focuses on women’s issues

There are two themes to this year’s annual report card on homelessness by the Nelson Committee on Homelessness.

This from Community Coordinator Ann Harvey after the 7th edition of the report was released Tuesday.

Harvey says one of the themes is women who are homeless or at risk of being homeless.

The report points out Nelson has a 0.6% vacancy rate which is the lowest in British Columbia.
