A lack of stability is no longer a concern for the non-profit society who runs Blueberry Creek Community school.
This from the Society’s Rebecca Mcdonnell after they bought the ageing property from the School District 20 this week.Mcdonnell says when they were leasing the building from the District there was no long-term arrangement and they were in a difficult position when applying for grants.
The non-profit operates as a hub for early childhood, youth and seniors programs.
Details of the deal have not yet been released but the society previously asked that the property be sold to them for one dollar.
