NPD say driver education key to new one-way system

The new one-way system in downtown Nelson is catching some motorists off-guard …while others may be deliberately ignoring it.

This from NPD Sgt Dino Falcone who says they will be taking an education and warn approach to start with.

But ultimately the public needs to get used to not being able to go down Cedar Street at Vernon Street.

Falcone says getting rid of the two-way flow is a good thing because the very narrow section always caused issues.

The change is part of the big Hall Street corridor upgrade
