FCM highlights changing political landscape:Cunningham

A local municipal politician figures change is in the air regarding the federal landscape and public opinion.

Ymir’s Hans Cunningham is a former president of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and has been attending national conferences for over 25 years.

He says the reaction among delegates in Edmonton recently to the various party reps tells a tale.

Cunningham says Canada’s local elected politicians are clearly evenly split across the parties.

The latest national opinion polls would bear that out with the NDP narrowly ahead of the Conservatives and the Liberals.
