Pulpit Rock trail to get safety upgrade

For anyone who ever huffed and puffed their way up the popular Pulpit Rock trail on Nelson’s north shore there’s some relief on the way.

Volunteers including Guy Woods are doing some upgrades near the very top thanks to a grant from the Osprey Community Foundation.

And Woods is asking visitors to obey the parking signs on Johnston Road at the base of the trail.

If you have a longer vehicle do not park it diagonally as it blocks road access.
