Parking concerns in Pass Creek Park plans

There are some concerns regarding possible changes to parking at Pass Creek Regional Park.

This from Castlegar councillor Dan Rye after the recent public open house on the latest draft management plans.

He says some are worried that could impact the popular Pass Creek Fall Fair.


Rye says he understands the park needs to appeal to all regional users and the fall fair is just one aspect.

But he hopes the design consultants can find a solution.

Protecting the natural habitat in the park is also a major issue for those who have given the RDCK their input.
