Kaslo ER closures

For the first time in four months the Kaslo health centre’s ER will not open its doors.

It’ll be closed Monday and next Friday due to doctor unavailability.

Doctor shortages were a major issue in recent years but late last summer Interior Health managed to secure two full-timers.

However, the health centre lost the services of one of the full-time doctors earlier this year.

Residents are advised to call 911 or visit Nelson’s KLH in the event of an emergency on those above closure days.
