Biomass plant can get Nelson off natural gas:councillor

Valerie Warmington is among the majority who want to take the proposal to the next business-plan step.

She’s supportive of a wood-waste hot water system linked to various buildings despite there being no chance of a revenue stream for about 15 years.

Warmington says Nelson needs to get off natural gas while becoming an expert in alternative energy sources.
