Hall St corridor …or river?

Crews working on Nelson’s Hall St upgrades had to change focus during a deluge Monday lunch time.

Heavy equipment that is being used to prepare for new pipes was quickly deployed to channel a river of mud and small rocks to one side of the road. A mini dam near the bottom of Hall St stopped the debris rushing on to the intersection with Nelson Avenue.

New storm drains will reduce the impact of heavy downpours like these.
