Evacuation alert over south of Silverton

The RDCK released the following information Tuesday 9am.

The RDCK has lifted (cancelled) the evacuation alert for residents near the Mt. Aylwin wildfire on a recommendation from the Wildfire Management Branch.

The RDCK thanks residents for their cooperation during the evacuation alert and the RCMP for having notified residents. The RDCK is deeply grateful to members of the fire service for keeping our residents and their homes safe.
