CGR youth clean-up for international trip

Youth in Castlegar are working to improve community at home and abroad.

Members of the Stanley Humphries Rotary Interact group will be doing a combined 150 hours of garbage pick up in exchange for $1,500 from City Council to put towards a trip to Eduador.

17 year old Svetlana Hadikin is the president of the group and says they will be helping to build an outdoor sports facility in a village with the locals.

Rotary Interact has been conducting goodwill trips for 20 years.
