Armed robber sentencing delayed

Local armed robber Andrew Stevenson will not be sentenced in Nelson court today after all.

Prosecutors inform us that a risk assessment report is still outstanding and so the sentencing hearing scheduled for this afternoon will be adjourned.

In April Stevenson pleaded guilty to multiple charges including armed robbery.

Last year he and partner Krista Kalmikoff -who is awaiting trial -were involved in a crime spree in which financial institutions and stores were targeted.
