Nelson Commons rises above ground

The major work on Nelson’s Hall Street has taken some focus away from the $26 million Nelson Commons construction.

But Project Manager Russell Precious says a milestone of sorts has been reached.

The design of the multi-use space puts the ground floor of the new Co-op store 7-feet above sidewalk level.

Precious says as the building takes shape more buyers show interest.

They have five sales pending which would take them to 43 in total out of the 54 residential units.
