More upgrades coming to North Shore Hall

The North Shore Hall near Nelson is slated to receive more improvements.

Area F Director Tom Newell says this is just one of many projects the RDCK is trying to initiate.

The funding is a $150, 000 grant from the Federal government, part of Canada’s 150 Infrastructure Plan.

It provides significant support  for existing community and cultural infrastructure.


The new money is expected to kick in April 2016 which could help with upgrades to the parking lot and septic system.

Extensive renovations have already been completed to the North Shore Hall.
