David Wilks defends his work

The federal Conservative candidate for the Kootenay Columbia riding is defending his record as the incumbent MP.

David Wilks is responding to claims made by NDP candidate Wayne Stetski that he has not been a good representative and simply does what the Prime Minister tells him to do.

Wilks says he’s helped secure countless grant applications all across the riding.

Wilks says he’s also proud of his successful private members bill.

It calls for minimum mandatory sentencing for those guilty of kidnapping anyone under the age of 16.
