RDKB calls for electromagnetic review

The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary is calling for a review of Health Canada’s Safety Code 6.

That’s the set of guidelines that limits public exposure to electromagnetic radiation.

Chair Grace McGregor says it followed a request from a group that wanted the board to fight smart meters.

The motion also asks the federal government to improve the collection of health data relating to wireless devices.
