Salmo to get new councilors

Salmo Mayor Steven White looks forward to getting back to business as usual when his revamped council meets on September 8th.

Diane Lockwood and Jonathon Heatlie are getting set to attend their first meeting as councilors after claiming the vacant positions.

White mentions that he is not too familiar with his new councilors’ viewpoints but they’re not dissimilar to his on one key aspect.


No other candidates came forward to fill the vacancies.
