NDP candidate targets green voters

The NDP candidate for the South Okanagan West Kootenay riding figures he has a lot of appeal regarding the environmental vote.

Richard Cannings is an ecologist and biologist by trade and notes no Green Party candidate has declared in the race.

Cannings has written many books on the natural history of BC.

He says there are many national issues that make the NDP the right choice for voters including the environment, economy and state of democracy in Canada.
