Trail staircases to get repairs

Trail city council has approved a $50,000 increase to the repair and maintenance budget for the historic downtown staircases.

It will ensure that the stairs are ready for the ‘Storm The Stairs’ fundraiser in September.

Councilor Sandy Santori says the staircases are in good shape, but council wanted to make sure that they will hold up for the competition.


‘Storm The Stairs’ takes place September 12th.

All money raised will go to local programs and services.
