Crews working to restore power to Rock Creek

Power restoration is underway along the corridor between Rock Creek and Westbridge following the big wildfire.

Fortis BC spokesperson Nicole Bogdanovic says 25 linemen are on the job working as quickly and safely as possible to get things done.

A lot of the infrastructure was wrecked by the flames.

Crews are working closely with the BC Wildfire Service and emergency responders to replace poles and cabling .

The entire job should be done by the end of the month.
