RCMP are not releasing any further information regarding the human remains found near Creston, until the autopsy is completed.
The body was discovered by Creston RCMPÂ last week at a rural property in Erickson.
Forensic efforts are under way to identify the person.
Foul play is suspected and the South-East District Major Crime Unit has been called in to investigate.
