Work continues after fire containment

The Rock Creek-Westbridge Wildfire has been declared 100% contained.

It’s almost three weeks since it ripped through the communities destroying 30 homes.

Fire Information Officer Rosalie Macaulay says almost 120 personnel remain on site.

Many danger trees still need to be identified and felled.

The recent rains have helped get the 4,400 hectare blaze under control.
