Nelson to host election forum

A federal election all-candidates forum will take place in Nelson later this month.

All 5 people running in the Kootenay-Columbia riding will be on stage for a conversational-interview style evening with Juice FM’s Glenn Hicks.

The Chamber of Commerce is hosting the event.

Executive Director Tom Thomson says various community groups have already contacted them about lines of questioning.

The Nelson Star and Juice FM are co-sponsors.

The 90 minute event goes at the Prestige Lakeside Thursday September 24th at 7pm.
