Recycling depot relocating

The Kaslo Recycling Depot is relocating to the Kaslo Transfer Station.

This shift takes place October 19th.

The relocation was requested by the Village of Kaslo.

The station along with others in the Central Sub-region will be equipped with front load bins.

The changes are expected to save roughly $200,000 a year once implemented.

After this, blue bags will no longer be required at RDCK recycling depots.
