Should council revisit rink entrance?

The entrance to Trail’s Cominco Arena looks great, but is it safe and accessible for everyone?

A Trail Smoke-Eaters fan of 70 years has presented council with concerns about accessibility .

She says she has had issues finding handicap parking and getting in and out of the rink with her walker.

Councilor Sandy Santori says this issue has been brought to council before.

While there are no plans in motion to address this matter, Santori believes it should be revisited and would like to see a ramp in place.

The arena entrance was redesigned as part of a downtown beautification project a few years ago.
